2016 has come and it is clear that the trends in decoration suffering constant change.
Influenced primarily by trends in colors or theme, which are marked by great fashion designers, or the development of new materials. It seems that some of these “trends” are here to stay, at least for now: neutral color palettes, retro furnishings, large pieces of lighting, mix of styles, … still, Houzz (my favorite design platform) dares to make a list of trends. they list 25, my favorites are 5:
1- Stainless steel black
For our kitchen appliances, if like me, you’re a little tired of stainless steel and do not want to go back to , that’s what matters.white …
At first it seems a perfect finish only for modern kitchens, but manufacturers are applying it to their classic models to expand the range of options. My favorite, the new collection of Samsung:
2 formal dining rooms
Do you remember in the homes of previous generations dinind rooms only used when visitors”?
After many years of reaction, during which the whole house was considered for use everyday, we return to that original idea. The idea is to maintain a small space inside the room, which can be considered “formal dining”. We have no reason not to use it every day … just seem so.
3- radiant floor in the hall.
This trend depends on the country you live .. the underfloor heating throughout the house is a staple in other counties in our … not yet.
In most cases, it is used only for bathrooms but … why not use it in the hall? when you arrive at home, the arrival becomes “even” more enjoyable during the winter months, and our guests will feel doubly welcome.
Installation is not very expensive.
4- Living rooms without technology
The technology … decorator’s nightmare. Always looking for a thousand ways to hide wires, screens …. and now appears, I hope to stay, the trend that seems a small gift … keep living rooms without any technology. They are nice, quiet, places where you can read a book, chat with family or friends … with nothing to divert our attention, with the focal point centered on a picture, a photograph ….is not this a dream ??
Return and hope to stay permanently.
In all its forms, including maintaining the trend with an unused space, but comes again.
